Chitradurga fort is the prime example of Central Karnataka dynasties like Nayakas. The fort temple complex is located on a rocky hillock located in the center of the Chitradurga town. The hillock is home to many temples like Gopalswamy temple, Obavva Kindi, Uyyali Kamba( Swing Pillars), and the fort itself.

Depart from Bangalore at 6:30 by cab/Motorcycle, break for breakfast at Tumkur, Afterwards, journey for about 3.5 hours before reaching Chitradurga. Visit fort at Chitradurga, later we return to Bangalore by evening.
