6:00 am Departure from hotel by Cab. 2.5-hour drive to Srirangapatna, breakfast on the way. Reach Srirangapatna, meet your guide, Tour starts with Ranganathaswamy Temple, Continue to the town’s top attraction, Daria Daulat Bagh, Then visit the tombs of Tipu Sultan and Hyder Ali. Drive another 30 minutes to reach Mysore. Stop at St. Philomena’s Church, Have lunch around midday; your guide can provide restaurant recommendations. Then visit Mysore Palace, an architectural masterpiece. Take a walking tour of the lively Devaraja Market. Observe local people shopping among stalls heaped with colorful arrangements of produce, flowers, dry goods, bangles, and bindis. At the end of the afternoon, drive into the Chamundi Hills to watch the sun set over Mysore. Visit Chamundeshwari Temple, and a hulking black granite statue of Lord Shiva’s bull Nandi. Rest on the return drive to Bengaluru where your tour ends with drop-off at pick-up point.
