The river Kaveri flows with all her mighty in the Mandya and Mysore districts of the southern Karnataka. Shivanasamudra is a small town in Mandya district. Because of its geography, the Kaveri plummets into two gorgeous falls viz., Gaganachukki and Barachukki. Talakadu is home for the Vaidyanatheshwara and another 4 temples.
